Within GenoMiCC, our workshops, seminars and regular meetings will foster communication, education, training and networking in all areas that are relevant for our research activities. The GenoMiCC annual retreats are two-day events to present all projects and their current progress and will be combined with the GenoMiCC summer school in year 2. The summer school, with support from the Heidelberg offices at UNIFY and KuM, will foster education and training in all research areas and methods within the initiatives as well as cross-cutting skills. The summer school will connect to and integrate modules from the interdisciplinary precision oncology master’s programme „PRECISE“ at the DKFZ-Hector Cancer Institute Mannheim. In year 3, all members of the SAB will be invited to the annual retreat to review the current research activities, give advice on the progress, limitations and challenges of the projects and teams, and for comment on the overall strategy and potential limitations and challenges in the scientific aims of GenoMiCC
