We are pleased to share that Professor Dr. med. Laura Hinze will receive the Leopoldina Prize for Young Scientists 2026 in recognition of her outstanding research on cancers affecting children and adolescents.
Her work has identified key signaling pathways in leukemia and colorectal cancer cells that enable tumor cells to continue growing under stress conditions and may contribute to chemotherapy resistance. By uncovering the molecular basis of these mechanisms, her research is helping to pave the way for new targeted therapies.
Congratulations to Laura Hinze on this well-deserved recognition.
